WEB SITE TRAFFIC

Web marketers know that one of the most important things needed in Web site development is to increase traffic. And that's true...

...but only to a point, and only if it's free. Whenever you pay for advertising, you only want targeted traffic, which equates to motivated buyers.

WHY?

You've got to evaluate the Web site traffic for which you spent good money advertising. If your traffic is not targeted, it's going to be a... "HARD SELL!"

And you know what that means... CLICK!

Once you develop a site the way we've outlined here, you will increase Web site traffic immensely.

And, your visitors will know in advance that... you have what they want.  No surprises!

Whenever that happens, it becomes a much easier sale.  Now all you have to do is provide the benefit-laden content that persuades the customer to buy.

Any other traffic to your Web site from paid ads will cost you NEEDLESSLY.

You may say...

... "Skip, that's all well and good for paid ads.  But, what about free Web site traffic?"

Glad you asked!

Your Web site development plan must also include developing the techniques that will increase your free Web site traffic too.  Therefore, as you have already seen, scoring high on searches through the major search engines is an absolute necessity.

A word of caution about
how you get Web site traffic...

Don’t waste your efforts with time-robbing, LOW VALUE, inefficient strategies like…

  • Advertising with free-for-all (FFA) sites. Most of the people who see these ads are the ones checking to see how their ads are doing.

  • Banner exchange programs that send traffic away from your site instead of to it. Why work really hard to get traffic, only to send your customer to someone else.

  • Low quality free classified ad services that bring more spam than  customers.

  • Tricks that temporarily fool search engines, but last for only a short time.

  • Deceptive advertising geared to fool the searcher into coming to your site.

Instead, your marketing strategy
should already include…

  • High quality pages that score well with the major search engines.

  • Content that answers a visitor's question, "What's In It For Me?"

  • Quality advertising that tells the potential customer in advance what to expect when they arrive. Again, benefits and no surprises!

  • Pages with selling power that converts lookers into buyers.

  • Clear sales copy that pulls the customer to your most wanted response.

Targeted Web site traffic will dramatically improve sales, and save you a ton in advertising dollars.

The final module in this course discusses Search Engine Placement. As you will discover, this area holds the KEY to attracting Web site traffic with targeted, motivated-buyers.
